Associate Corporate Tax

About the role

The Associate Corporate Tax will support Aldar Group’s corporate tax function by implementing tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and providing expertise on M&A transactions. This position is open exclusively to UAE nationals and is based in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AVP – Corporate Tax and the wider tax team to execute tax strategies aligned with group objectives and regulations.
• Review monthly tax provision calculations generated by the system and reconcile them to the ledger.
• Participate in the end‑to‑end annual corporate tax compliance process, filing all required returns on time.
• Conduct detailed reviews of deferred tax calculations, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Lead transfer pricing initiatives, maintain compliance with international guidelines, and recommend optimisation measures.
• Provide tax expertise during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and post‑transaction integration.
• Assist with Country‑by‑Country Reporting, Pillar 2, and Economic Substance Regulations compliance.
• Stay updated on domestic and international tax law changes and prepare related financial reports and disclosures.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, tax, M&A or consultancy, preferably within the real‑estate sector.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
