Associate Credit Analyst (Emirati Talent)

About the role

NTT DATA is hiring an Associate Credit Analyst in Dubai, working under the supervision of a senior manager. The role focuses on learning the skills needed to evaluate the creditworthiness of clients or other external parties seeking IT services, solutions or products on credit, by analysing financial data, credit reports and other information to assess the risk of extending credit terms. It suits UAE Nationals wanting to build a career in finance, credit analysis, risk management and financial operations, and recent graduates in finance, accounting, economics or business administration are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Support the review of credit applications from prospective and existing customers
• Analyse financial statements, credit reports and other financial information to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure
• Evaluate credit risk and help set credit limits in line with company policies and procedures
• Use credit analysis techniques and credit scoring methods under supervision to support credit approval recommendations
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, terms and governance requirements
• Prepare credit analysis reports, risk assessments and supporting documentation
• Monitor customer accounts, run periodic credit reviews and support credit limit amendments
• Support invoice creation, processing and submission, including customer portal uploads
• Assist with customer onboarding, master data creation and documentation collection
• Support collections through follow-ups, invoice queries and outstanding payments
• Maintain credit, invoicing and compliance records, including handling invoice rejections and resubmissions
• Support credit control, collections and customer account reporting, and suggest improvements to credit, billing and collections processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field preferred
• Entry-level experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, collections, finance operations or a related finance role preferred
• Experience with financial systems, accounting software or ERP platforms is advantageous; exposure to invoicing, onboarding, collections or credit control is beneficial
• Basic experience with corporate customers in professional services, technology or multinational environments preferred
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, deadline-driven and proactive

Required skills

• Working knowledge of accounting practices and principles
• Understanding of financial statements, credit analysis and risk assessment methodologies
• Understanding of accounts receivable, collections and customer account management
• Ability to work with customer portals, invoicing systems and financial documentation
