Associate Director Corporate and Private Clients

About the role

Vistra is seeking an Associate Director to lead its Corporate and Private Client Services in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Director, you will own the operational delivery and client relationship for a complex portfolio of international corporate and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational delivery and serve as the principal point of contact for a portfolio of corporate and private clients.
• Drive growth of the client portfolio and meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead and mentor the Service Delivery team, providing direction, feedback and performance coaching.
• Ensure the team maintains required technical expertise through continuous professional development.
• Oversee recruitment, illness management, performance appraisal and resource planning in collaboration with HR.
• Jointly manage the financial performance of the portfolio, including profitability reporting and invoicing.
• Conduct annual compliance‑led assessments and remediate any gaps in client files.
• Coordinate migration of activities to the Shared Service Centre and optimise team structure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing corporate and private client services within a professional services environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities, including coaching and talent development.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, HR and compliance teams.
• Excellent client‑facing skills with a focus on service quality and relationship building.
• Track record of meeting financial and profitability targets.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UAE free zones, offshore company structures and corporate secretarial requirements.
• Experience with economic substance filings and drafting corporate resolutions.
• Financial reporting and profitability analysis.
• Compliance assessment and remediation processes.
