Associate Director, Data Science Trainer – Dubai

About the role

Fitch Learning, the training arm of Fitch Ratings, is seeking an Associate Director, Data Science Trainer to join its Dubai office. You will be part of a globally‑collaborative faculty that designs and delivers technical learning programs for banks, financial institutions, regulators and other corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑quality training programs in data science, analytics and related technical subjects.
• Create engaging learning materials such as presentations, practical exercises, case studies and assessments.
• Deliver training across virtual, in‑person and blended formats, translating complex concepts into clear, practical experiences.
• Contribute to the evolution of Fitch Learning’s data‑science curriculum and broader technical portfolio.
• Partner with product, sales and client‑facing teams to tailor learning solutions for specific engagements.
• Stay current on data‑science, machine‑learning and learning‑design trends to keep content market‑aligned.
• Use learner and client feedback to continuously improve training quality and outcomes.
• Support business‑development activities by providing subject‑matter expertise for proposals and client discussions.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic with the ability to deliver training in Arabic.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in data science, analytics, statistics or machine learning.
• Proven experience designing and delivering technical training or professional learning programs.
• Confident presenter who can explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Hands‑on experience with relevant tools, programming languages or data‑visualisation platforms.
• Commercial awareness and ability to align learning solutions with client and market needs.
• Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working across fast‑paced teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
