Associate Director Facilities – UAE National – Entertainment

About the role

Lead the Facilities Management function for a large‑scale, high‑footfall entertainment destination in Dubai. The role is responsible for developing FM strategy, overseeing MEP and utilities, cleaning services, contracts, budgets, sustainability and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Facilities Management strategy aligned with the five‑year business plan.
• Prepare annual FM operational plans, budgets and resource forecasts.
• Lead the delivery and maintenance of MEP systems, emergency generators, lighting, fire‑life safety, landscaping and other critical infrastructure.
• Oversee FM and cleaning services to ensure high service standards and SLA compliance.
• Manage outsourced contractors and service providers, including procurement, contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Drive cost optimisation, effective procurement and asset reliability.
• Conduct technical feasibility reviews, FM audits and risk mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies, statutory regulations and industry best practices.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement sustainability programmes covering energy efficiency, waste management and resource optimisation.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Senior level experience in Facilities Management for large entertainment or destination assets.
• Proven ability to lead internal teams and external service providers.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, strategic planning and regulatory compliance.
