Associate Director of Finance

About the role

The Finance Associate Director will lead finance operations for entities in the UAE and Egypt, overseeing accounting, reporting, treasury and financial planning. This hands‑on leader will build and scale finance processes while developing a high‑performing team across Dubai and Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance activities: billing, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, banking and reconciliations.
• Own month‑end and year‑end close calendars, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Oversee fee and commission revenue recognition under IFRS 15, including work‑in‑progress and unbilled balances.
• Coordinate payroll, agent/consultant commission calculations and payouts.
• Drive working‑capital efficiency, collections and cash‑flow health.
• Supervise client monies and owner accounts in line with RERA requirements.
• Manage intercompany positions and foreign‑exchange exposure across entities.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, reviewing output before it reaches the CFO.
• Produce monthly management accounts, KPI dashboards and board/executive packs.
• Handle statutory reporting and external audit processes under IFRS.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in multi‑entity environments.
• Strong track record of building and improving finance operations.
• Ability to develop and motivate cross‑border finance teams.
• Accountability for financial maturity, control environment and business partnering.
