Associate - Energy and Natural Resources - Dubai Riyadh

About the role

Oliver Wyman is expanding its Energy and Natural Resources practice and seeks an Associate to join the team in Dubai. You will work on strategic and operational projects for leading energy companies and government entities, gaining rapid professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Break down complex problems into discrete tasks and guide junior consultants.
• Plan, execute, and synthesize analyses to identify core issues and craft recommendations.
• Work side‑by‑side with clients and project teams to move projects forward.
• Manage small project teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality work.
• Provide unique insights and thought leadership in the energy sector.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or a leading energy company.
• Consulting or operating experience in energy domains (oil & gas, chemicals, power & water, environment, mining & metals).
• Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel and take initiative in learning new skills.
