Associate - Financial Planning and Analysis

About the role

ADIB Group is hiring an Associate in Financial Planning and Analysis in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the preparation and analysis of management reports for the bank and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Map and manually upload general ledger data at customer level in the BO database each month, and reconcile GLs and BO monthly
• Update international mapping
• Help circulate monthly business unit and support area expense reports showing variance to budget
• Prepare and circulate reports on time: Customer Profitability, Head count and FTE, Expense reviews, Market Premium and ALOC reports
• Assist in updating and uploading GAAP adjustments in OFSAA
• Support the annual budget process and reforecast for the ADIB group, including OOE, premises, head count and FTE
• Track expenses by cost center and GL, ensuring bookings match the budget and there are no overruns
• Prepare monthly expense summaries and presentations for the GCFO with variance explanations
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the line manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of bank financials and bank product profitability is a plus
• Sound leadership and influencing skills, teamwork, and good judgment about when to ask for help

• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Business Objects
