Associate Fragrance Development Director

About the role

As an Associate Fragrance Development Director in Dubai, you will lead the creation of winning fragrances for client brands, partnering closely with perfumers and external consultants. You will translate consumer trends and market insights into innovative olfactive solutions that elevate brand experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full fragrance development cycle for complex projects, from brief to market adoption.
• Collaborate with perfumers, sales, technical development, marketing, consumer insights, and commercial teams to co‑create fragrance strategies.
• Define and execute category strategies, integrating market intelligence and olfactive trends.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of scented products across assigned categories and initiate proactive development aligned with market needs.
• Coach junior team members on evaluation techniques and olfactive standards.
• Present fragrance concepts to clients and support client training on olfaction.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with deep understanding of olfaction and consumer insights.
• Proven ability to lead client presentations and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market trends and translate them into fragrance concepts.
