Associate Manager - AI Transformation

About the role

Dubai Chambers is looking for an Associate Manager to lead its AI transformation strategy and implementation. The role covers AI and automation projects, stakeholder engagement, vendor management and responsible AI governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the AI transformation roadmap, identify and prioritize AI use cases and support the deployment of AI, generative AI and intelligent automation solutions.
• Manage AI and automation projects end to end, including plans, timelines, governance, risks, budgets and stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor emerging technologies, run pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives, and support business cases for AI investment.
• Identify process automation opportunities, redesign workflows and measure efficiency gains.
• Engage business units, promote AI awareness, deliver workshops and support change management.
• Manage relationships with AI technology providers and consultants, and take part in solution evaluations and procurement.
• Support AI governance frameworks and compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy and ethical AI requirements.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards and KPI tracking on AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Digital Transformation or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, project management or innovation.
• Minimum 3-5 years leading AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and external technology partners.
• Preferred: experience implementing AI, generative AI, Copilot or automation solutions, and in government, semi-government or large enterprise settings.

Required skills

• Preferred certifications: PMP or PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, AI, cloud or digital transformation certifications.
• Adherence to information security policies and reporting of security incidents.
