Associate Manager - Plant Analysis

About the role

The Associate Manager – Plant Analysis will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting functions for the Operations area. This role supports cash‑flow management, cost control and strategic decision‑making to achieve corporate financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policies, processes and controls for financial planning and analysis within the Operations area.
• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the financial planning team, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Lead month‑end closing activities, including accruals, mass‑balance reconciliation and inventory valuation.
• Review and validate operating budgets and annual plans, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with strategic assumptions.
• Monitor expenditures, provide cost‑control advice and flag variances to senior management.
• Coordinate with analysts to communicate financial plans and performance across all operational levels.
• Analyse profitability by comparing actual results with prior year and budgeted figures, identifying improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• UAE national with a strong background in finance, corporate development or controlling.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, month‑end reporting and cost management.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
