Associate – MENA Venture Capital & Growth (UAE Diversified Assets)

About the role

Join the MENA Venture Capital & Growth team within the UAE Diversified Assets unit of Mubadala’s UAE Investments platform. You will work on later‑stage, technology‑enabled companies across AI, fintech, digital health and other high‑growth sectors, supporting the platform’s growth mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment strategy by analysing market dynamics and Mubadala’s positioning.
• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, building origination capability over time.
• Support senior team members in end‑to‑end deal execution, including due diligence, financial modelling and valuation.
• Monitor and manage the existing portfolio, preparing performance reviews and value‑creation updates.
• Represent Mubadala with founders, fund managers, co‑investors and ecosystem partners.
• Continuously develop investment expertise while contributing to team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related quantitative field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, venture capital or corporate development.
• Strong technical capability in financial modelling, valuation and independent opportunity assessment.
• Experience evaluating technology companies or growth‑stage investments, preferably in the UAE/MENA region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen interest in technology and entrepreneurship.
