Associate Tax Consultant – UAE

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Tax professional to join our Accounting & Tax Solutions Business Unit in the UAE. The role provides operational support to the tax team, handling routine compliance tasks under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare inputs for VAT returns, corporate tax computations and other FTA filings using provided templates.
• Compile supporting schedules, reconciliations and source documents for tax submissions.
• Maintain tax filing calendars, trackers and logs to ensure timely submissions and payments.
• Support e‑invoicing compliance by validating invoice data and attaching supporting documents.
• Assist in gathering information for cross‑border and intercompany transaction reviews and basic transfer‑pricing analyses.
• Prepare tax payment instructions, reconcile payments to bank statements and flag outstanding items.
• Maintain organized electronic tax folders, ensure version control and assist during audits.
• Collaborate with accounting, treasury and legal teams to collect routine tax inputs.
• Support junior staff with day‑to‑day tasks and suggest simple process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• More than 1 year of experience in tax or accounting roles.
• Exposure to UAE VAT and basic corporate tax processes preferred.
