Associate Vice President - Treasury Sales

About the role

The Associate Vice President – Treasury Sales will lead revenue generation across a range of Treasury products, advising Business Banking clients on market risks and delivering tailored hedging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue and turnover across foreign exchange, derivatives, gold, structured deposits and other Treasury products.
• Identify sales opportunities within the Business Banking portfolio and actively market Treasury solutions to new and existing clients.
• Structure, price and execute both vanilla and exotic derivative products while managing foreign exchange flows.
• Monitor local and international financial markets, provide market intelligence and contribute to new product ideas.
• Collaborate with Business Banking Relationship Managers and internal functions (Credit, Risk, Operations, Compliance) to deliver tailored Treasury proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA or ACI qualification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in banking/treasury, with at least 7 years in Treasury sales.
• Proven track record of generating Treasury revenue and managing corporate or Business Banking clients.
• Experience in the UAE or wider GCC banking market is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Expertise in foreign exchange, interest‑rate, commodity derivatives and structured deposits.
• Hands‑on experience structuring, pricing and executing Treasury products.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, SuperDerivatives or equivalent core banking platforms.
• Strong client advisory and relationship‑management capabilities.
