Associate/Full Professor – Environmental Epidemiology

About the role

The university seeks an experienced academic to join its Department of Public Health as an Associate or Full Professor in Environmental Epidemiology. The successful candidate will balance high‑quality teaching with an active research agenda and contribute to university service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental epidemiology and related subjects.
• Design and continuously update course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials.
• Participate in curriculum development and ensure alignment with academic standards.
• Assess student performance through exams, assignments, labs, and provide remedial support when needed.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and internships.
• Maintain up‑to‑date instructional technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Conduct independent research, publish findings, and present at conferences.
• Engage in peer review, professional service, and community outreach activities.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level.
• Strong record of scholarly publications and research funding.
• Ability to develop and improve curricula and supervise graduate students.
• Commitment to academic service and professional engagement.
