Audio Visual Technician (Level 2)

About the role

The Technician 2 will support conferences and events at Atlantis The Royal by installing, testing and maintaining audio‑visual equipment. The role ensures all AV solutions meet the resort’s high standards and operates safely during shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle audio‑visual equipment for conferences, meetings and special events.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and first‑line repairs on all resort‑owned AV gear.
• Conduct DB‑level tests on the background music system and produce weekly performance reports.
• Monitor external contractors to ensure compliance with Atlantis AV standards.
• Maintain safe storage, cleaning and documentation of technical equipment.
• Collaborate with the AV team, internal stakeholders and customers to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in audio‑visual installation and support.
• Hands‑on knowledge of event projection, lighting and audio systems.
• Experience with distributed resort audio systems; familiarity with QSC equipment is a plus.
• Background in 5‑star hotel, aqua‑park or large recreational complex environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Fluent English is advantageous.
