Audiologist – Clinical Hearing & Balance Specialist

About the role

The Audiologist will provide comprehensive audiometric, diagnostic and rehabilitative services for patients with hearing loss and balance disorders, ensuring accurate assessment and personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret behavioural, electroacoustic and electrophysiologic assessments of hearing, balance and neural function and produce written reports.
• Measure and interpret sensory and motor‑evoked potentials, perform electromyography and other electro‑diagnostic tests for intra‑operative neurophysiologic monitoring.
• Assess candidacy for cochlear implants and other implantable devices, provide fitting, programming and rehabilitation to optimise device use.
• Fit, program and counsel patients on hearing aids and assistive listening devices, including newborn and adult hearing screening.
• Deliver audiology rehabilitation services such as speech reading, communication management, language development and vestibular rehabilitation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Audiology or in Audiology and Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Certification as a vestibular provider or completion of accredited vestibular assessment and rehabilitation courses.
• Minimum of two years post‑graduate clinical experience in audiology.
