Audit Manager – External Financial Audit

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead external audit engagements for our clients in Dubai. The role involves managing a portfolio of audits, guiding high‑performing teams and ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on external audit engagements across diverse industries, including listed and regulated entities.
• Review and approve audit strategies, risk assessments, materiality calculations and deliverables.
• Monitor budgets, timelines and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
• Prepare and present audit reports, management letters and board presentations.
• Drive adoption of data‑analytics and technology‑enabled audit procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA or CA certification.
• 8–12 years of external audit experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• Proven experience managing audit portfolios and leading teams.
• Familiarity with listed entities and regulated sectors in the UAE is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Proficiency with audit software such as CaseWare or TeamMate.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Data‑analytics tools like Power BI, IDEA or ACL.
