Auditor Operations – Banking (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a UAE National to join the Internal Audit team, focusing on Operations and Corporate Services within a banking environment in Dubai. The role involves delivering independent, risk‑based audits in line with IIA standards and UAE Central Bank regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify process weaknesses in Operations and Corporate Services and strengthen the control environment.
• Conduct audits according to IIA Standards and the Internal Audit Policy.
• Prepare Terms of Reference, audit planning memoranda, and test programmes.
• Complete audit engagements on time, maintain working papers, and support final audit reporting.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and monitor implementation.
• Participate in special assignments and build productive relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence.

Required profile

• UAE National with a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years banking experience, including at least 1 year in banking audit.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of local banking laws, regulations, and internal audit standards.
• Desirable qualifications: CA, ACCA, CIA, ACAMS.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with audit management software.
