About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is looking for an Australian Board Certified Consultant Pathologist to join its advanced diagnostic medicine team. The role involves delivering accurate pathology diagnoses, supporting multidisciplinary clinical decisions, and contributing to a high‑quality laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret surgical pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology and related specimens.
• Examine and report on histopathology and cytology cases.
• Provide clinical consultation on complex diagnostic cases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards and case reviews.
• Ensure compliance with international laboratory accreditation and quality standards.
• Lead quality‑improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
• Engage in teaching, research, audits and CME activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) and accredited specialist training in Pathology.
• Australian Board/Fellowship qualification (FRCPA or equivalent) – mandatory.
• 3–5 years of post‑specialty consultant experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in diagnostic pathology and laboratory medicine.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
