AutoCAD Draftsman – Fire Fighting Systems

About the role

NAFFCO is looking for a proactive AutoCAD Draftsman specialized in fire fighting systems to join its engineering team in Dubai. You will be responsible for creating precise design documentation and supporting business development through technical communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings, schematics, and layout plans for fire fighting and fire protection systems, including piping, sprinkler networks, and equipment placement.
• Update and maintain technical documentation throughout all project phases, ensuring compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers, sales, and project managers to clarify technical needs, resolve design challenges, and deliver solutions that drive project success.
• Participate in site visits and surveys to gather data for drafting and to propose practical on‑site solutions.
• Present drawings and system concepts to clients, assisting the sales team in communicating benefits and technical details.
• Maintain drawing registers and enforce version control across all documentation sets.
• Suggest improvements to drafting processes, drawing standards, and system designs.
