AutoCAD Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Specialist with a strong engineering consultancy background to produce, coordinate and revise technical drawings for engineering and construction projects. The role demands high attention to detail and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, sections, elevations and technical details.
• Develop and modify drawings based on engineering designs, project specifications and consultant requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers, architects, MEP teams, contractors and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, annotations and compliance with project standards.
• Incorporate comments and revisions from consultants, clients, engineers and project teams.
• Maintain proper layers, blocks, title blocks, templates and revision control.
• Prepare drawings for client, consultant and authority submissions.
• Update drawings based on site changes and produce as‑built drawings when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as an AutoCAD Specialist/Draftsman, preferably in an engineering consultancy.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
