AV Technician

About the role

The AV Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the hotel's audio‑visual equipment. This role supports meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings and other events by ensuring all AV systems function properly and deliver a seamless guest experience while upholding the hotel's quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and dismantle audio‑visual equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings and special events.
• Install, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot projectors, LED screens, televisions, sound systems, microphones, video‑conferencing equipment and control systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure reliable performance.
• Respond promptly to AV‑related maintenance requests from guests and internal departments.
• Test all equipment before events and monitor audio, video and presentation systems during events, providing technical support as needed.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Events, Sales, IT and other departments to meet event requirements and maintain inventory of AV equipment, accessories, cables and spare parts.
