Aviation Technical Writer (Engineering & CAMO)

About the role

The Aviation Technical Writer will join the Technical Division on a 12‑month contract, creating and maintaining clear, standardised procedures and work instructions for engineering and CAMO activities. Working closely with subject‑matter experts, you will ensure all documentation aligns with operational practices and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, author, format and publish technical procedures and work instructions using the Document Management System.
• Convert legacy documents into structured procedures supported by visual process maps.
• Maintain accuracy, clarity and usability of all assigned documentation.
• Collaborate with SMEs to capture technical knowledge and operational changes.
• Support periodic reviews and updates to keep documentation current.
• Implement and promote Safety Management System (SMS) processes and adhere to the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Manual.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of relevant technical writing or documentation experience.
• Basic understanding of airline engineering, maintenance operations or CAMO processes.
• Knowledge of technical documentation principles and structured authoring.
• Familiarity with safety management systems and regulatory documentation standards.
