Avionics Technician – Jakarta Recruitment Event

About the role

The Avionics Technician will support the Engineer in performing maintenance on aircraft avionics and electrical systems for Air Arabia and third‑party operators. This position is linked to an invitation‑only recruitment event in Jakarta, Indonesia, scheduled for the first week of September 2026. Candidates must be able to attend the event if shortlisted.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned task cards with the Engineer‑in‑Charge to understand work scope, priorities, documentation requirements and cautions.
• Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring required parts, tools and ground support equipment (GSE) are available.
• Conduct aircraft tests and inspections to identify and record defects in line with approved procedures.
• Execute repairs, component replacements and functional tests as instructed by task cards and the Engineer‑in‑Charge.
• Manage tooling and equipment, returning them in good condition after use.
• Report task status regularly to the Engineer‑in‑Charge and flag any aircraft condition or execution issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to safety precautions throughout all activities.

Required profile

• Must be available to attend the recruitment event in Jakarta during the first week of September 2026 if shortlisted.
• Must be able to work under the direction of an Engineer‑in‑Charge on aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Must comply with Air Arabia procedures, regulatory requirements and safety standards.
