AVP & Audit Manager, Personal Banking (Emiratized)

About the role

The AVP & Audit Manager will lead audits across Consumer, Private and Business Banking segments for FAB Group, providing assurance to senior management and driving improvements in governance, risk and control frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct audits of Consumer, Private & Business Banking segments across FAB Group and its subsidiaries.
• Identify weaknesses, report findings promptly, and agree on corrective action plans with management.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for business units, offering advice and influencing change.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, audit programs, and ensure timely, efficient completion of audit work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; professional qualification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an international bank or Big‑4, preferably internal audit.
• Working knowledge of banking processes, risk management and the regulatory environment in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of bank audit policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with Central Bank regulations and compliance frameworks.
