AVP Bancassurance Sales

About the role

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) Bancassurance Sales will be responsible for selling core bancassurance products, driving cross‑selling of other direct sales offerings, and leading a sales team within the assigned territory in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Sell core bancassurance products and promote cross‑selling of other direct sales products.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Lead, coach and motivate the assigned sales team to achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy, standard operating procedures, and code of conduct.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling opportunities for other bank divisions.
• Manage daily activities, reporting and performance tracking through digital platforms and CRM tools.
• Develop new business strategies, increase bank visibility and profitability in the market.
• Ensure team members stay updated on product features, promotions and regulatory requirements.
• Propose new corporate listings and source quality business while adhering to fraud and compliance guidelines.
• Coordinate with Employee Banking relationship managers to generate business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bancassurance or financial product sales.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a sales team.
• Strong understanding of credit policies and compliance standards.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
