AVP & Lead CAD International – Global Markets Control

About the role

The role supports the GM MO Control & Governance function by executing and monitoring first‑line control activities across Global Markets Middle Office processes. It ensures control discipline, timely exception escalation and accurate evidence management while working under the direction of the VP & Head of GM MO Control & Governance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily control checks across Global Markets Middle Office processes, maintaining logs, issue trackers and evidence files.
• Perform trade permission, booking template and internal trade booking controls, escalating breaches as needed.
• Monitor off‑market trades, counter‑party exposure and lifecycle events, coordinating escalations with Product Control, Market Risk and Front Office.
• Conduct internal and external reconciliations, track failed trades, aged breaks and support root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare inputs for management dashboards, KPI/KRI reporting and governance forums, ensuring accurate commentary and evidence.
• Support audit, RCSA and control‑evidence preparation, maintaining auditable records and assisting in remediation tracking.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Trade Support, Operations and regional teams to resolve control issues and promote a disciplined escalation culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Global Markets Operations, Middle Office, Control, Governance, Reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting or related areas.
