AVP & Lead Documentation Support – Corporate Banking & IB

About the role

The AVP and Lead Documentation Support will oversee the verification, registration, and management of credit facility documentation for Corporate Banking and International Banking divisions. The role ensures the authenticity of security documents and compliance with UAE legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Documentation Support Managers, Specialists, and Filing Clerks.
• Approve registration and release of mortgages, pledges, and related security documents in Arabic.
• Review and approve mortgage agreements, amendments, and official correspondence addressed to courts, central bank, municipalities, land departments, and chambers of commerce.
• Oversee payments for pledge and mortgage registration fees with relevant authorities.
• Supervise scanning, safekeeping, and reporting of original security documents across Corporate Banking, Global Markets, Syndications, and International units.
• Participate in projects assigned by the Head of the Documentation Unit and support preparation of RSCA, SOPs, BIA, and BCP documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 8‑10 years of corporate banking experience, with at least 8 years in Corporate Credit Administration.
• Strong knowledge of UAE legal environment, Central Bank regulations, and banking products.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
