AVP & Lead – Documentation Support for Corporate Banking & IB

About the role

The role is responsible for checking and vetting documentation related to credit facilities, ensuring accuracy before lodging into the bank’s system, and confirming the enforceability of security documents executed by customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Documentation Support Managers, Specialists, and Filing Clerks.
• Approve registration and release of mortgages over properties, vehicles, machinery, equipment, and share pledges in Arabic.
• Review and approve mortgage agreements, amendments, and official correspondence addressed to UAE courts, central bank, municipalities, land departments and other authorities.
• Oversee payments related to pledge and mortgage registration fees and ensure proper reporting to the UAE Central Bank.
• Manage scanning, safekeeping and archiving of original security documents across Corporate Banking, Global Markets, Syndications and International segments.
• Participate in projects assigned by the Head of the Documentation Unit and support preparation of RSCA, SOPs, BIA and BCP documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 8‑10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, with at least 8 years in Corporate Credit Administration.
• Strong knowledge of UAE legal environment and Central Bank regulations.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

• Proficiency with banking software systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word.
• Basic PC skills.
