AVP – People Operations (Senior HR Leader)

About the role

Emirates Flight Catering is seeking an accomplished HR leader to serve as AVP – People Operations in Dubai. Reporting to the SVP – Human Resources, this senior position holds enterprise‑wide responsibility for workforce planning, talent acquisition, mobilization and contingent workforce management across a workforce of more than 10,000 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide workforce and manpower planning, translating business needs into effective talent strategies.
• Oversee high‑volume, multi‑category talent acquisition, onboarding, and mobilization processes.
• Develop and manage contingent workforce models, vendor partnerships, and outsourced recruitment solutions.
• Provide workforce analytics, forecasting, reporting and optimise people technology and processes.
• Ensure recruitment governance, compliance, risk management and budget optimisation.
• Build and develop high‑performing HR teams while collaborating with HR Business Partners, Finance and senior business leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including at least 6 years in senior leadership or strategic management.
• Proven experience in enterprise‑wide workforce planning and large‑scale talent acquisition, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget and cost management expertise.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
• Experience in aviation, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing or similarly complex operational environments is advantageous.
