Backend & Systems Integration Engineer – ERPNext

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Backend & Systems Integration Engineer specialized in ERPNext to design, build and enhance our internal ERP platform. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business processes into reliable, scalable software solutions that support operations, finance, production and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize and maintain ERPNext modules, DocTypes, workflows, reports, print formats, server and client scripts.
• Extend ERPNext functionality using the Frappe Framework and build custom applications as needed.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and secure high‑performance REST APIs.
• Create and manage integrations between ERPNext and internal or third‑party systems using REST APIs, webhooks and secure authentication.
• Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues, optimise performance and support ERPNext upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on ERPNext development.
• Strong backend engineering expertise and ability to work independently.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders from operations, finance, production and technology.
