Baggage Team Leader

About the role

The Baggage Team Leader provides front‑line leadership and operational supervision within baggage handling operations to ensure the safe, efficient and timely movement of passenger baggage while delivering a superior guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, update and supervise activities to ensure safe and professional delivery of service for all customer airlines in line with SLAs and quality standards.
• Drive employee engagement and a high‑performance culture through empowerment, communication, quality, productivity and goal attainment.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs by the team, maintaining a safe and secure operation.
• Facilitate clear communication at all levels, including team briefings and report completion.
• Accurately complete all documentation related to tasks performed.
• Proactively work towards the connection of all passengers and bags.
• Report safety, security and service occurrences, errors, hazards and near‑misses using established procedures.

Required profile

• Secondary / High school level education.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in airport ground handling industry.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
