Bank Teller – Customer Service

About the role

The Teller will deliver high‑quality service to bank customers, processing transactions accurately and efficiently while representing ADIB’s professional image. This role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on both routine teller duties and support for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign‑currency purchases and sales, and cheque deposits in line with operational policies.
• Cross‑sell or refer product inquiries to sales staff.
• Perform cash reconciliation, end‑of‑day balancing and general filing.
• Act as a dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery, supporting the Head of Operations.
• Coordinate with the Treasury department to obtain optimal rates for VIP customers.

Required profile

• Knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Familiarity with ADIB’s operational policies, UAE banking regulations and Central Bank of UAE requirements.
• Awareness of local market competitors and service standards.
• Ability to handle cross‑sales opportunities and maintain accurate transaction records.
