About the role
The firm is seeking a Banking Associate Solicitor with 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience to join its Dubai office. The role involves working closely with senior partners on a broad mix of transactional banking, finance and restructuring matters across the UAE and the wider region.
Key responsibilities
- Advise financial institutions, corporates and government‑related entities on corporate lending, real estate finance and acquisition finance, both conventional and Sharia‑compliant.
- Support the team’s restructuring and insolvency practice, handling distressed debt, consensual restructurings and formal insolvency processes.
- Act for a regional client base, including leading UAE banks, representing both lenders and borrowers on private credit matters.
Required profile
- English/Common Law qualified solicitor with 4‑6 PQE and solid experience at a Legal 500‑ranked firm in the Middle East or UK.
- Demonstrated transactional banking experience and exposure to restructuring or distressed situations.
- Motivation to take on a broader role within a growing Dubai practice.
