About the role
The Ritz-Carlton in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead service operations for Al Wadi events. The role ensures seamless coordination between kitchen, service staff, and guests to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards for all functions.
- Prepare and present checks to group contacts for payment.
- Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards, including proper centerpieces.
- Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address special dietary requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required training.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in hospitality or food service.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
