About the role

The Banquet Captain – Wet Deck ensures seamless service for group functions at W Hotels in Dubai. You will coordinate between chefs, stewards and guests, manage billing, and maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout events.

Key responsibilities

Communicate service needs to kitchen and stewarding teams for all functions.
Prepare and present group checks to contacts for payment.
Set up banquet rooms, restaurants and coffee breaks according to event specifications, including table settings and centrepieces.
Inspect china, glass and silver for cleanliness and presentation before use.
Address guest satisfaction, dietary requirements and special requests during service.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety, security and uniform standards.

Required profile

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
