Banquet Manager

As Banquet Manager, you will liaise between multiple departments to ensure the success of every group function and model exceptional service and leadership skills among your team.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Lead and manage the Banquet team, ensuring service standards are followed.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Train supervisors and provide coaching, including performance evaluations.
• Support recruitment of Banquet team members and balance operational, administrative and colleague needs.
• Conduct regular departmental meetings and collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, Conference Services & Catering teams.
• Manage departmental budget, scheduling and payroll support.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, outlet policies and service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of Food & Beverage, Banquet, Catering or Conference Services experience, preferably in a luxury or upper‑upscale hotel.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a banquet or events environment.
• College degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Restaurant Management or related field preferred.
• Food handler and responsible alcohol service certification.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and varying event times.
