Banquet Manager

About the role

The Banquet Manager will lead the planning, organization and execution of all banquet, conference, wedding, corporate and special events at Dubai Golf. The role ensures exceptional guest satisfaction while maintaining operational excellence, budget control and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day banquet and event operations, coordinating with kitchen, stewarding, sales and other departments.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction by handling feedback, complaints and special requests professionally.
• Lead, train and schedule the banquet team, conduct performance evaluations and enforce grooming and service standards.
• Monitor banquet revenue, control labor and equipment costs, and support budget preparation and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety regulations, and maintain safe banquet venues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Events teams to review Banquet Event Orders, coordinate menus, timings and dietary requirements, and develop new banquet offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of banquet operations experience in a luxury hotel, golf club or resort, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of banquet planning, food‑and‑beverage operations and event management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
