Banquet Waiter – Dubai Marina

About the role

The Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina is seeking a full‑time Banquet Waiter to deliver professional food and beverage service for a variety of hotel events, including conferences, weddings and private functions. You will be the face of the hotel, ensuring guests receive attentive, high‑standard service throughout each event.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide courteous service and attend to special requests.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, arranging tables, chairs, linen, glassware and cutlery according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, replenish buffet and beverage stations, and clear used items promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized service areas and ensure all sanitation, hygiene, food‑safety and alcohol‑control policies are followed.
• Coordinate closely with the Banquet Supervisor, kitchen team and fellow service staff to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Handle banquet equipment and service items carefully to minimise damage.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a four‑ or five‑star hotel or comparable hospitality environment.
• Ability to work with multicultural teams and communicate clearly in both verbal and written English.
• Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused and able to multitask while meeting tight deadlines.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong personal grooming standards.
