Bar Manager (Chinese)

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE's first integrated resort slated to open in 2027, is seeking a Bar Manager fluent in Chinese to lead its upscale bar operations. The role involves overseeing daily service, driving beverage innovation, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate the bar team to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, receiving and stock rotation.
• Monitor health, safety and sanitation compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop new cocktails and update beverage menus.
• Resolve escalated guest complaints promptly to uphold satisfaction.
• Prepare beverages accurately according to recipes and company standards.
• Serve food and drinks professionally while maintaining a clean bar environment.
• Handle billing, payments and ensure accurate charging of customers.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of progressive bartending and bar management experience in upscale or luxury hospitality.
• Expert knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, wine and current beverage trends.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Strong customer service skills with experience handling escalated guest concerns.
• Leadership abilities to mentor, motivate and train bar staff.
• Formal bartending certification or recognized hospitality management training preferred.
