Bar Manager – Chinese Restaurant

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an experienced Bar Manager for its Chinese Restaurant. The role will lead the bar team, oversee daily operations, and ensure a high‑standard guest experience in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate the bar team to maintain high service standards and morale.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, receiving and stock rotation.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop new cocktails and update beverage menus.
• Resolve escalated guest complaints promptly to uphold satisfaction.
• Prepare beverages accurately, serve food and drinks professionally, and maintain a clean bar environment.
• Accurately charge customers, present bills promptly and handle payments according to procedures.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years progressive experience in bartending and bar management within upscale or luxury hospitality establishments.
• Expert knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, wine and current beverage trends.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, ordering and stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve escalated concerns.
• Leadership abilities to mentor, motivate and train bar staff.
• Formal bartending certification or recognised hospitality management training preferred.
