Bar Server

About the role

The Bar Server at The Abu Dhabi EDITION will serve food and alcoholic beverages, set tables, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience. This role requires interaction with guests, the kitchen, and the service team to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, set tables according to event type, and answer menu questions.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, allergies, dietary needs, and product availability.
• Record transactions in the MICROS system, present accurate checks, and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and ensure professional appearance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in food and beverage service.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Capability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and navigate stairs or ramps.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
