Barista – Arabic Speaking – Noor Lounge

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is seeking an Arabic-speaking Barista for its Noor Lounge. The role focuses on preparing high-quality coffee, tea and creative non-alcoholic beverages while delivering the brand’s legendary guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish coffee, espresso, blended drinks and teas according to Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Explain menu concepts and beverage characteristics to guests and recommend suitable drinks.
• Maintain bar mise-en-place, inventory checks and FIFO stock rotation daily.
• Handle guest complaints, process orders through the POS system and perform cashiering duties when required.
• Assist the Bar Supervisor in creating new blended drinks for promotions and conduct deep-cleaning of bar areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bar or bartender experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• High school qualification; degree or HND in Hospitality or Business Management preferred.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Bar service procedures and standards.
• Operation of restaurant point-of-sale (POS) and cashiering systems.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
