Barista – Coffee & Beverage Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and passionate Barista to join our café team in the United Arab Emirates. You will prepare high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, tea, and hot and cold beverages according to company standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all drinks.
• Take customer orders, process payments accurately, and recommend menu items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic coffee bar and work area.
• Monitor stock levels, restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups and other supplies.
• Check ingredient quality, ensure proper storage and handling.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning and daily café operations.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and support the team during busy periods.
• Report equipment issues and help with routine maintenance.

Required profile

• Previous barista or café experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
