About the role

Time Out Market is launching its first Abu Dhabi location, bringing together food, culture and entertainment under one roof. As a Market Barista you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering high-quality coffee and specialty beverages while ensuring a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, take orders accurately and recommend menu items and promotions.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and specialty drinks following quality standards and present them attractively.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders and other café equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of workstations.
• Process payments using the POS system and issue receipts.
• Monitor stock levels, restock supplies and follow FIFO procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties, daily cleaning and equipment checks.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly and uphold health, safety and HACCP standards.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of direct barista or café experience.
• Experience with POS systems and high-volume operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required skills
