Barista – Hotel Coffee Service

About the role

Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking a passionate Barista to join its Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on preparing high‑quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering warm, personalized service to guests in a vibrant hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, specialty drinks and non‑alcoholic beverages according to Hyatt standards and recipes.
• Maintain product knowledge to recommend beverages, menu items and suitable pairings.
• Promote daily specials, seasonal offerings and upsell to support revenue goals.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and food‑safety compliance of the coffee station and equipment.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate coffee machines, reporting any issues promptly.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the Micros POS system.
• Monitor inventory, assist with stock control and conduct monthly inventory checks.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support hotel events, promotions and banquet services as required.
