Barista Maestro

About the role

Emirates Flight Catering is seeking a Barista Maestro to lead coffee and beverage operations across its outlets in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on coffee preparation with team leadership, quality assurance, and innovation to deliver a premium guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistent preparation and presentation of coffee and other beverages in line with the highest quality standards.
• Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for beverage service.
• Coach, train, and monitor the performance of barista teams to raise skill levels and craftsmanship.
• Oversee setup, maintenance, and smooth operation of beverage stations during daily service and special events.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to integrate coffee offerings into menus and event concepts.
• Ensure all coffee equipment and supplies are maintained, operational, and ready for service.
• Introduce new brewing methods, seasonal offerings, and drive product innovation.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and company hygiene policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Barista certification from a recognized institution (e.g., Specialty Coffee Association) – preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional barista experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or training capacity.
• Proven experience in high‑volume, multi‑outlet or large‑scale event environments.
