Bartender

About the role

25hours Hotel One Central, a 25hours hotel in Dubai, is looking for a bartender. The hotel brings Bedouin traditions into a contemporary setting, with a view of the Museum of the Future near the Dubai International Financial Center, and offers a friendly, informal culture.

Key responsibilities

• Meet guests' needs, provide bar service and recommend and upsell products where appropriate.
• Follow departmental policies, SOPs and the F&B Standards Manual to deliver consistent, quality service.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and quality standards.
• Serve beverages according to defined standards and measures, mixing cocktails and other drinks to recipe.
• Process, register and settle drink transactions.
• Keep the bar set up, coordinate with stewards on cleanliness and glassware availability, and check expiry dates and store perishables properly.
• Carry out opening, closing and cleaning tasks, and serve alcohol responsibly in line with company policy and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a bartender in a 5-star hotel, upscale bar or high-end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines and bar service standards.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling and handling guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Good knowledge of bar hygiene and responsible alcohol service.
• Confident communication in English.
