Bartender – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the beverage team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, delivering gracious and professional service in line with Minor Hotels standards. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to guests in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the bar at opening, including liquor, ice, glassware, juices and garnishes.
• Process drink orders accurately, manage billing efficiently and ensure proper calling order.
• Prepare cocktails according to the Minor Hotels beverage manual using standard measures.
• Receive and verify liquor deliveries, reporting any discrepancies to the Beverage Manager.
• Maintain bar security, stay on the bar area unless properly relieved, and perform regular cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to Beverage Department SOPs and suggest improvements where applicable.

Required profile

• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes and drink preparation techniques.
• Previous bartending experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
• Ability to operate a POS system, process payments and keep accurate transactions.
• Comfortable standing for long periods in a busy environment.
• Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
